The University of East London (UEL) offers a range of activities to support business start-up, growth and innovation.
We have a focus on working with businesses in areas linked to UEL’s research strengths, including IT, sustainability and health. We also support our students to gain experience working in local businesses through internships, placements and volunteering opportunities. Through our Centre of Excellence for Women’s Entrepreneurship (CEWE), we are supporting women entrepreneurs to start and grow their business (www.uel.ac.uk/cewe)
UEL is also home to the Knowledge Dock Business Centre, an EU-accredited Business Incubation Centre, where 40SMEs are currently based and Fabpad, a specialist digital fabric and paper print bureau.
We are always interested in hearing from organisations who are interested in working with the university – please contact us to discuss your needs.
We have been around for 25 years and now we have a new business address, and a new partnership, working for business with the London Borough of Havering.
