Oakinson Education is the founder of the Industry Intervention Scheme. The Scheme aims to help young people who have difficulties accessing education to obtain a level 2 GCSE equivalent grade using work experience placements in local and national businesses. Oakinson will help local business give back to the community by making the process of taking on young people easy and accessible for all.

Specialist Trade Courses Limited is an award-winning Training and Employment provider based in Essex, registered on ROATP and graded Good by Ofsted. We support adults looking for training and employment solutions throughout the South East.
Our Vocational Training courses range from Construction in Tiling, painting & decorating, carpentry, bricklaying, electrical and other trades, to Beauty, Personal Training, Social Care and Professional services which include Business and Finance qualifications through our Traineeship and Apprenticeship provision. The University of East London (UEL) offers a range of activities to support business start-up, growth and innovation.
We have a focus on working with businesses in areas linked to UEL’s research strengths, including IT, sustainability and health. We also support our students to gain experience working in local businesses through internships, placements and volunteering opportunities. Through our Centre of Excellence for Women’s Entrepreneurship (CEWE), we are supporting women entrepreneurs to start and grow their business (www.uel.ac.uk/cewe)
UEL is also home to the Knowledge Dock Business Centre, an EU-accredited Business Incubation Centre, where 40SMEs are currently based and Fabpad, a specialist digital fabric and paper print bureau.
